Also grease four ramekin ( 3-1/2 diameter & 2” deep) with butter and keep them aside.
Preheat the oven at 450 °F. in baking mod. Sift all purpose flour, chili powder, cinnamon powder, salt and coca powder using strainer and keep the mixture in a bowl.
Melt the chopped chocolate along with butter on double boiler till chocolate melt.
Take out the melted chocolate from heat. Keep aside to cool down.
Meanwhile, in mixing bowl, add sugar, eggs and vanilla extract. Beat the eggs and sugar with electric hand mixer at low setting till light and thick.
Add sifted flour mixture and beat until everything gets mixed nicely. Add melted chocolate and butter in to batter and beat again until every thing is mixed nicely.
Divide batter evenly among the ramekin. Place the ramekin on a backing tray and place it in preheated oven on upper rack.
Bake it for about 9-10 minutes. The center will cake would slightly make a dip. Remove from oven and let it cool for a minute.
Flip the cake from the bowl onto a serving plate by flipping it.
Delicious chili chocolate molten lava cake is ready to served.
Cut from side so melted chocolate will flow out from the cake.
It’s called molten lava cake. Best served with vanilla or berry ice cream, raspberry fruit and granola. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes
Chocolate molten lava cake batter can be store into fridge for couple of days.
The perfect baking time at 450 °F for about 9-10 minutes, if you bake it for longer time, the molten lava would become solid and would not flow when you cut the cake.
Bring refrigerated batter to room temperature before baking.
If your ramekin size is different, you may have to adjust baking time.
