Butter Milk or Chach is a light refreshing drink for your breakfast or can serve as a compliment to your meal. Traditionally, buttermilk made from homemade curd. My grandmother used to make chach (buttermilk) with homemade curd after churning curd out of cream using wooden mathani (whisker). It’s really easy to prepare and useful when it comes to beating the heat.

Strawberry yogurt sorbet
Strawberry sorbet is prepared from yogurt and strawberry. This is much lighter than ice cream however tastes as good as that. You would love it during summer without putting much calories in your diet. If you don’t have ice cream machine, please see my recipe notes below.
Steamed Dahi vada
Steamed dahi vada is a minor variation of regular version of dahi vada. In this recipe vada is not fried rather steamed. This make it more healthy and more fat free. The taste is as good as regular dahi vada.

Dahi vada is an Indian snacks prepared using urad daal vada and curd. In this recipe, I have used both urad and moong daal for making vada. Fried vada soaked into dahi (yogurt) and spiced with some special spices. It is a very popular north Indian dish which is prepared during holi or other special occasions.
