Manchurian’s are a very popular Indo Chinese starter and a personal favorite for most people. Tilapia fish Manchurian is a manchurian recipe similar to gobhi Manchurian or chicken Manchurian. In this recipe, the fish is crispy from the outside and soft and juicy inside. Prepared in tangy, flavorful sauces, this manchurian proves to be soothing to your taste buds. Ingredients
For Fish Marination and fish fry
- 500g Tilapia fish cut in to small cubes
- 3/4 cup All purpose flour
- 1/3 cup Corn starch
- 1 tbsp Garlic paste
- 1 tbsp Ginger paste
- 1 tbsp Rava or Sooji
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp Baking powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup Oil for frying fish
For Manchurian Sauce
- 1 small Onion fine chopped
- 1/2 Red bell pepper chopped in to length wise
- 1/2 Green bell Pepper chopped in to length wise
- 2 tbsp Celery fine chopped
- 1/2 cup Spring onion fine chopped
- 3 tbsp Ginger fine chopped
- 3 tbsp Garlic fine chopped
- 1 tbsp Corn starch dissolve it in 1/4 cup of water
- 2 tbsp All in one sauce
- 1-1/2 tbsp Dark soy sauce
- 2 tsp Vinegar
- 3 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 1/4 tsp Sesame oil
- 2 tsp Chili garlic sauce
- 2 tsp Green chili sauce
- 3 tbsp Oil for cooking
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions
For Tilapia Fish Marination
- In a mixing bowl, add fish, salt, ginger & garlic paste, black pepper, lemon juice and turmeric powder. Mix all very nicely, cover it and keep it aside for 15 minutes. Add all purpose flour, baking powder, corn starch and rava into the marinated fish. Mix it well, fish should be coated very well. Add a little water if needed.
