Happy Valentine Day!! This special valentine day dessert recipe for your love ones. The strawberry & beetroot kesari is slight variation of normal kesari. The regular kesari is made during for worships and on special occasions as Prasad. The recipe is prepared with ghee roasted rava cooked into milk, beetroot & strawberry puree and flavored with cardamon powder and kewra-rose essence. This beautiful naturally colored recipe is so delicious and mouthwatering. I am sure you would love this recipe if you Kesari bhath fan.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Rava or Sooji
- 1 small Beetroot puree
- 5-6 Ripe strawberry puree
- 3 tbsp Ghee
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2-1/2 cup Milk
- 3-4 Freshly crushed green cardamon
- 3-4 drops kewra & rose essence
- some pistachios grated
- some dry coconut powder
- Some saffron thread
Instructions
- Add milk and sugar into roasted rava and stir it. Once it come to boil simmer it at low to medium heat and stir it continuously to avoid it getting stick to the pan bottom. Add strawberry & beetroot puree, green cardamon powder, kewra & rose essence in to it. Preserve some strawberry & beetroot puree for garnishing and decoration.
