Instructions
Boil 2 cups of water in a big pan, drop tomatoes in to boiling water.
Cook the tomatoes for 2 to 3 minutes or till cracks are visible. Remove from the water and peel it.
Grind and make a puree. Mix fresh tomato puree and cane tomato puree and keep it aside.
Chop onions, bell peppers, garlic and keep it aside.
Heat oil in a deep pan, add chopped garlic, saute it till slightly golden color.
Add onion and salt, saute it for 6-7 min until slightly golden color. Add bell peppers and cook for 5 minutes at medium heat.
Add tomato puree mixture and cook at medium heat for 30-35 minutes with lid on till it gets thick consistency. Keep stirring at regular interval.
Add remaining spices, honey and mix it well.
Cook for another 5 minutes Turn off the heat and let it cool.
Homemade pizza sauce is ready for making pizza.
Store it in an air tight container in refrigerator.
