Pav Bhaji is a famous street food in Mumbai, India however its available most part of India. Pav bhaji is all time my kids favorite and they love to take it for their lunch boxes. Bhaji is made with vegetables and some specific spices. You can add or adjust the vegetable ingredients as per your taste. This is one of the awesome snacks/fast food recipe and very easy to make. This dish is perfect for your parties or gathering. You can also make sandwiches from pav and bhaji for kids.
Ingredients
- 2 small size Potatoes boiled and mashed
- 10 French beans
- 1 medium Carrot
- 1 cup Cauliflower
- 1/3 cup Bell Pepper - Green chopped
- 1/3 cup Bell Pepper - Red chopped
- 4 tbsp Oil for cooking
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 big size Onion fine chopped
- 2 tsp Ginger and Garlic paste each
- 2 Green chili chopped
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida Hing in Hindi
- 2 Tomatoes fine chopped
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Gram masala
- 1-1/2 tsp Pav bhaji masala from any store
- 1 tsp Coriander and Cumin powder each
- 1/2 tsp Red chili optional
- 1 tbsp Kasoori Methi
- 1 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp Chaat masala powder
- 1/2 cup Vegetable stock or water
- 1 tsp Honey
- 1/2 cup Coriander leaves chopped
- Salt to taste
