Paneer tikka masala is a popular vegetarian dish prepared with grilled paneer, colorful bell peppers and spices. Easy to make and very flavorful. Paneer tikka masala tastes great with jeera rice, naan or paratha.
Ingredients
For paneer marination
- 200g Paneer
- 1 Green bell Pepper Cut into 1 inch square
- 1 Red bell pepper Cut into 1 inch square
- 1 Yellow bell pepper Cut into 1 inch square
- 1 Onion Cut into 1 inch square
- 1/2 cup Hung curd
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Ginger and Garlic paste each
- 1/2 lemon juice
- 2 tsp Kasoori Methi
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Oil for grilling
For Gravy
- 5 tbsp Oil for cooking
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 2 Bay leaves
- 3 medium Onion fine chopped
- 2 tsp Ginger and Garlic paste each
- 4 Tomatoes fine chopped
- 2 tbsp Tomato puree
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Cashew nuts soaked into milk
- 2 tsp Coriander & cumin powder each
- 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
- 3 tsp Kasoori Methi
- 2 tsp Gram masala
- 2 tsp Tomato ketchup optional
- 2 tsp Honey
- 1/2 cup Chopped coriander leaves
- 1/4 cup Cream
