Ice cream as we all know is an awesome dessert, favorites of kids as well as adults specifically during summer. Mango which is also known as king of fruits is eaten as fruit itself and used in many dishes like mango milk shake, mango shrikhand and raw mangoes are used to prepare pickles. Making Mango ice cream at home is very simple and easy. You can choose your own fruit and follow the same process to prepare an ice cream of your choice.
Ingredients
- 4 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Milk mava powder or (heavy whipping cream 2 cups)
- 2 cup Mango( alphonso mango) pulp or fresh mango pulp
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Pistachios fine chopped
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract or rose water
- 1/4 tsp Mango extract
- 1/8 tsp Salt
Instructions
- In a heavy bottom pan, add 4 cup milk, sugar and bring it to boil at medium to high heat. Once its start boiling, bring the temperature to medium heat, add mava powder and mix it well and boil until it reaches slightly thick consistency. ( You can use 1 cup milk and 2 cups of heavy whipping cream instead of milk and milk mava powder, but in that case you don't have to boil to bring it to thick consistency).
