Chicken Kabab is a famous non-vegetarian appetizer. Malai Chicken Kabab is a very simple recipe, which includes chicken marinated with cheese, cream, yogurt,some herbs and grilled in oven. Kids love these kababs as they are less spicy and give a creamy taste. Adding basil and thyme leaves present a beautiful aroma and taste to this recipe. Ingredients
For first marination
- 2 lbs Chicken Breast
- 1/2 lemon juice
- 2 tsp Ginger and Garlic paste each
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Dried basil leave or fresh basil leaves chopped
- 1/4 tsp Dried thyme
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
- 3 Green chili paste
- 1/8 tsp Fresh grated nutmeg
For second marination
- 1/2 cup Italian cheese or mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup Cream
- 1/4 cup Hung curd
- 2 tbsp Melted butter
- 1 tbsp Corn starch

- Cut chicken into small pieces and it should be at room temperature.
- Make sure the cheese, cream, yogurt and butter are at room temperature.
- After marination keep chicken into fridge for at least 3-4 hrs.
- Once grilling is done, keep the chicken covered so it won't get dry.
