Italian Pesto Pasta

However the Italian pesto pasta is liked by adults as well due to it’s tingling taste and aroma of basil. This is again a very easy recipe to make and perfect for birthday parties or kids lunch boxes.

Ingredients

• 2 cup Whole grain penne pasta
• 3 tsp Olive oil
• 1/3 cup Pesto sauce See recipe Pesto Sauce
• 1/3 cup Parsley chopped
• 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
• 1/3 cup Olives chopped
• Salt to taste

Instructions

1. Boil water in a big pan. Add 2 tsp olive oil and bring it to boil. Add pasta to the boiling water.

   
2. Boil pasta for about 6 minute until it gets tender. Drain all the water after boiling.

   
3. Heat 1 tsp olive oil in a pan at medium heat. Add boiled pasta, pesto sauce, salt and chopped olives. Stir it well until mixed properly. Cook it for 1 min in a low to medium heat.

   
4. Add Parmesan cheese and parsley. Mix it well.

   
5. Italian Pesto pasta is ready to be served.
