Grilled chili chicken is one of the favorite starters. Grilled chicken sauteed with bell peppers and tangy sauces, makes this dish delicious. In this recipe, i have used grilled chicken instant of fried chicken, but you can use fried chicken if you like. People loved it and it goes very well with drinks. This recipe is very easy to make and perfect for your parties.
Ingredients
For Marination
- 200 gm Boneless thigh chicken
- 1 tsp Ginger and Garlic paste each
- 1-1/2 tbsp Corn starch
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 Egg
For Sauce
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1/4 tsp Sesame oil
- 2 tbsp Garlic fine chopped
- 2 tbsp Ginger fine chopped
- 1/2 medium size Onion chopped leagth wise
- 1/2 Red bell pepper
- 1/2 Green bell Pepper
- 1/3 cup Spring onion leaves chopped
- 1-1/2 tsp All in one sauce
- 1/2 tsp Chili garlic sauce
- 1 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 1/8 tsp Pinch of ajinomoto (MSG)
- 1 tsp Chili vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven at 450 °F. Line the baking tray with aluminium foil and grease some oil on top. Take out the marinated chicken from refrigerator. Bring it to the room temperature. Add 1 egg and mix it well. Place the marinated chicken on baking tray, bake the chicken for 3-4 minutes and then flip the chicken and after 15 minutes change the mode to broil. Grill it about 2 more minutes until it gets golden color. Remove the chicken from oven and wrap it in lined aluminium foil and keep it aside. If you don't have an oven, you can shallow fry the chicken.
