Carrot and beetroot sandwiches are easy to make and tastes very good. Kids like the sandwich very much as they are not spicy. This is also a perfect school lunch for kids. My kids love this sandwich, I am sure yours too.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Carrot shredded
- 1/3 cup Red beetroot shredded
- 1/2 cup Cream cheese
- 1/8 tsp Dried oregano
- 1/8 tsp Basil leave( dried) or pizza seasoning
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
- Pinch of Salt
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 8 Wheat bread slices
- Crushed red chili flakes optional
Instructions
- Take 4 bread slices. Cut the bread crust and apply some butter on it. Take two separate bowl, add half of cream cheese and carrot in one and rest half and beetroot in another. Add oregano, Basil leave, black pepper and pinch of salt equally in both the bowl and mix it very well. (If you want spice than add 1/4 tsp chili flakes in to it.)
