Mix Veg Korma – Without Onion Garlic

Vegetable korma is a delicious flavorful creamy dish prepared using mix of vegetables, flavored with gram masala and methi leaves.This recipe is easy to prepare and popular all over India. The taste and the flavor varies with the different cooking technique. This recipe can be prepared with or without onion and garlic. People generally prepare the food without onion and garlic in festival season like Navrathri. Tomato Rasam

Rasam is a traditional south Indian soup which is prepared using rasam powder, tomato and tamarind juice. Rasam is comforting food in south India, without rasam the meal is not complete. There are many kinds of rasam like lentil rasam, tamarind rasam and many more. This recipe is made from tomato, tamarind, freshly blended aromatic Indian spices, homemade rasam powder and tempered with curry leaves, chili and mustard seeds. Added little beetroot for darker color. You can use store bought rasam powder which is easily available in Indian grocery store but homemade rasam powder gives a wonderful aroma and taste to the rasam. Homemade Rasam Powder

Rasam is a south Indian lentil soup flavoured with tamarind, tomatoes and rasam powder. Rasam can be served as a soup or as a side for white rice. Rasam powder is easily available in Indian grocery store however fresh homemade rasam powder gives a wonderful taste and aroma to your rasam. The rasam powder is made with blend of Indian dry roasted spices. In southern part of India, people make rasam powder or any spices mix in a bulk and it comes in various varieties. You can adjust the spiciness by adding chili & black pepper corn in this recipe as per your choice.

Stuffed Brinjal Dry

Stuffed brinjal dry is a side dish very popular in northern part of India. This mouthwatering tangy side dish is made using baby brinjals stuffed with indian spices and stir fried. which is made with baby brinjal. This recipe is served with rice-daal or roti as a side dish. Punjabi Pakora Kadhi

Kadhi is one of the easiest recipe which is made using gram flour (besan), yogurt( curd) and spices tadka. Normally, we make kadhi with bari. The bari made with besan and deep fried. Masala Dosa

Masala dosa is a one of the popular breakfast dish in southern part of India, however loved across the India. There are varieties of dosa recipes like plain dosa, paper dosa, rava dosa, ragi dosa, mysore masala dosa and so on. This recipe is traditional and made with main ingredients as urad daal and rice. Masala dosa is all time favorite of my family. Generally masala of masala dosa is made of potato and onion, however in this recipe I have given a small twist by adding bell pepper to the same which gives a little different taste and flavor. Masala dosa goes very well with sambhar and coconut, peanut or tomato chutney. The recipe requires preparation a day before you want to make Masala Dosa.

Green Moong Daal Dhokla

Dhokla is a yummy savory  famous Gujarati snacks. Traditionaly, it is made with gram flour (besan) and you can play with the ingredients by adding oats, quinoa or semolina to give a little twist to the taste and flavor. This recipe is about making Dhokla using green moong daal with spinach and quinoa. Quinoa & spinach gives a unique taste to the Dhokla along with providing a natural green color to it. To make it spongy you would need fruit salt  (ENO) or baking soda. You would also need Dhokla stand and steamer to prepare this recipe.

Chole Masala

Chole masala is a yummy Punjabi dish which is famous all over India. There are many ways to make chole masala. This recipe is closer to the Punjabi style chole masala. The beans used for this recipe are also known as kabuli/garbanzo beans. To get the dark color of the recipe, the beans are boiled along with the tea bag; which also gives a unique flavor.
