As you hear the sound Tandoori, it gives you a spicy, tangy and mouthwatering sensation. There are varieties of non-veg based Tandoori recipes however Tandoori Gobhi is vegetarian recipe and is an excellent starter or snacks item. This recipe is prepared using cauliflower florets marinated in hung curd, tandoori masala and other spices and grilled in oven. If cooked in clay based oven, it would have an amazing aroma and smoky flavor. You can also cook it in gas based oven or on griddle. Serve this dish to your guests with mint chutney & mocktails in parties and have fun. Also see my other Tandoori recipes like Tandoori Salmon, Tandoori tangdi 65 and Tandoori Chicken.

Tricolor Parfait
Wishing all my Indian friends a very Happy Republic Day!!
This Tricolor Parfait recipe is inspired by the beautiful colors of the Indian Flag. This day brings a lovely childhood memory when it was celebrated in schools with flag hosting, various cultural functions and at the end of celebration sweet especially Motichoor Ladoos were distributed to every one. The recipe is prepared using mainly three ingredients using lauki (bottle gourd), sweet yogurt and sweet fine boondi. The green cardamon, rose and kewra essence gives an amazing taste to the recipe. The three layers arranged in a fancy glass container make this recipe very soothing to the eyes and appealing. Some of the process are lengthy like getting hung curd so plan ahead for those. I have separately posted the recipe for Motichoor Ladoo which is required for this recipe. However I have mentioned the ingredient for boondi here for easy reference.

For people who eat egg can replace it with egg. These cupcakes are decorated with tangy and sweet yogurt base frosting, you can use cream cheese instead of hung curd if you like it.
Tandoori Tangdi 65
Tandoori Tangdi 65 is a variation of original recipe of chicken 65. Generally chicken 65 is prepared using deep fried chicken with 65 spices however if you don’t want to deep fry the chicken, you can use this recipe to prepare a grilled chicken 65. The recipe came out pretty well without having to deep fry the chicken. Tandoori is basically chicken marinated with yogurt, tandoori masala and spices for over night and grilled into clay oven. Roasted chicken into clay oven gives a authentic flavor and taste but you can make them into electric oven. This recipe has long passive time so you need to plan ahead. The chicken requires about marination for 6-7 hours however overnight would be best. You can adjust the spiciness based on your taste. You can also use leftover tandoori chicken for this recipe.
