Medu Vada

Medu Vada is a favorite south Indian snack. It is a common breakfast dish and goes in combination with Idli. Vada is also served as an appetizer along with coconut chutney. The procedure is very simple, but grinding the daal is the most important part because it should be nicely grinded with very little water, while the batter of the vada should be light and fluffy so the vada comes out very nice.  Vada’s are generally very tempting that once you start eating, you can’t stop 🙂

Sambar

Sambar is one of the main south Indian dish and goes well with Idli, Vada, Rice, and Dosa. This recipe is made of mixed vegetables, daal and spiced with samber masala. It’s very tasty and healthy. There are different kinds of Sambar made in different part of south India. This simple dish is easy to prepare.

Pav Bhaji is a famous street food in Mumbai, India however its available most part of India. Pav bhaji is all time my kids favorite and they love to take it for their lunch boxes. Bhaji is made with vegetables and some specific spices. You can add or adjust the vegetable ingredients as per your taste. This is one of the awesome snacks/fast food recipe and very easy to make. This dish is perfect for your parties or gathering.  You can also make sandwiches from pav and bhaji for kids.
