It has beautiful red-orange color of carrot & beetroot, naturally sweetened by sweet potato and has hint of spices. This healthy and delicious soup is easy to prepare and best served with garlic bread and croutons. This is a favorite in my family and I keep getting demands for making this very often.

Kadhi, the name itself brings a tangy taste in one’s mouth. Kadhi is very simple side dish prepared mainly using gram flour and sour curd. In different part of India, there are many variations of Kadhi. I have earlier shared some of the variations like Bihari Kadhi Bari and Punjabi Kadhi. This recipe is specifically based on how it is prepared in Maharashtra and very easy to prepare. The delicious side dish goes very well with roti, plain rice as well as famous Maharashtrian masala bhaat.
Tomato Carrot & Beetroot Soup

This soup is perfect for cold or rainy weather. Soups are great complement with your meal as a stater. The beetroot gives a wonderful color and as well as it makes soup more healthy. I have skipped adding any oil or butter to this recipe, however if you wish you can add butter as per your taste. The taste was awesome. Adding fresh basil leaves gives a nice aroma and taste to the soup.
Tomato Rasam
Rasam is a traditional south Indian soup which is prepared using rasam powder, tomato and tamarind juice. Rasam is comforting food in south India, without rasam the meal is not complete. There are many kinds of rasam like lentil rasam, tamarind rasam and many more. This recipe is made from tomato, tamarind, freshly blended aromatic Indian spices, homemade rasam powder and tempered with curry leaves, chili and mustard seeds. Added little beetroot for darker color. You can use store bought rasam powder which is easily available in Indian grocery store but homemade rasam powder gives a wonderful aroma and taste to the rasam. Barley Minestrone Soup
Minestrone soup recipe is an Italian soup recipe which is prepared with ingredients like chicken, vegetable, beans, pasta or grain like barley or Quinoa. This recipe is a vegetarian barley minestrone soup. The soup is generally served with Italian bread and salads. This is a very light recipe and good for dinner or lunch.
